Haunted Sunderland - Ghosts Sunderland - Most Haunted Tyne & Wear
In the Aircraft Museum the bottom half of a man has been seen walking around the hangers and poltergeist activity has also been reported - an old gramophone has been observed starting to play unaided.
At the Empire Theatre it is rumoured that Sid James haunts the Empire and Barbara Windsor, allegedly, now refuses to work there. Also a violinist, Johnstone, who died on the site, has been seen by the manager, drifting along in the dress circle before completely vanishing.
Players from the football club stated that they were concerned that their chances of success were threatened by a ghost which haunted their training ground.
SEATON HOLME A former rectory, built in 1248 that throughout the years was sold to the guardians of the poor (1921) and became a home for children from the workhouse and in the 1930s became a hostel for old men. A couple of spirits are said to roam the building. one of which is said to be Prince Bishop Farnham whom the building was originally built for as a retirement home

It was built on the eve of World War 2 and became a popular hangout for soldiers. One of these soldiers passed away in his room and his spirit has never left. His image is frequently seen walking down the grand stairs and into the extra large, creepy, cellar. Poltergeist activity may be contributed to by a female spirit seen walking behind the bar.
