It was built on the eve of World War 2 and became a popular hangout for soldiers. One of these soldiers passed away in his room and his spirit has never left. His image is frequently seen walking down the grand stairs and into the extra large, creepy, cellar. Poltergeist activity may be contributed to by a female spirit seen walking behind the bar. Glasses flying from shelves, moving chairs and music being played is accompanied by sounds of giggling and other loud noises.

A former Presbyterian Church dating back to 1902. It’s also been used for Sunday school, Boy’s brigade, an air raid shelter and emergency De-contamination Centre. It’s believed that a black figure seen roaming the building is unhappy with the prospect of changes being made to it. Pictures have flown from walls with screws still intact and shutters have flown open by themselves. Music players turn themselves on and people are afraid to go upstairs, feeling there’s something else up there.

The world’s oldest purpose-built masonic temple. Created in 1783 on foundations belonging to a much older building. Parts in here are extremely spooky and give the sense that something is creeping around, watching. There have been sightings of a man wearing Victorian clothing, black figures and strange footprints. People have felt an unusually sickness and as if something has touched them. Loud banging has been heard along with eerie childlike singing.
