Thank you to all who joined us for a fantastic night at the Masonic Hall on Saturday! We started the night as one larger group in the downstairs hall and the grand hall upstairs, with some interesting responses coming through on the SpiritBox and using the Estes method including repeated names, secret, prayer, altar and frequent mentions of a book. We also had plenty of temperature changes felt by both staff and customers and confirmed by the equipment, and quite a few people mentioned that soft murmuring and whispering could be heard although nothing came through on our EVP sessions. We had some great intelligent catball interactions in the grand hall, and a strange feeling in the air as though lots of people were moving around even though we were all sat down. After a short break we split into two groups, with group one starting upstairs and we felt at one point almost as if there was a spirit with us, and checking us out from the side but with less responses coming through almost as if they wanted to know if we were trustworthy first before they would answer us. We tried a ouija board with some slow responses, but the spirit began to strongly affect one of our male customers and making him feel physically sick which we realised had been a bit of a recurring theme for us as this spirit seemed to be affecting the males more. After a little bit of time passed we started to get some more temperature responses back through on the TAD 2 and SB7, with the spirit using these to answer questions. It was around this point we heard the most incredible DVP (Direct Voice Phenomena) with a male voice saying "hellooo" which sounded as though it came from in-between us where we were sat around the table. Thankfully Shauns camera managed to capture it, in person it was so loud and clear! We used the SpiritBox and portal after this and struggled to understand what we were hearing back until we realised it was Latin, so we began speaking Latin phrases and even though we couldnt understand the responses it was great to hear how much was coming through. At one point, we said the Latin word for "lights", as the spirit had been continuing to light up the temperature equipment and we heard the word repeated back to us loudly and clearly! Group two decided to stay downstairs in the portrait room after our break, where the atmosphere of the room had changed to a much friendlier one. They spent the majority of this half having one of the best ouija board sessions Abbie had ever seen and getting some absolutely fantastic personal messages through, along as well as spotting shadow figures towards the back of the room. Overall a fantastic night with some great results, thank you again for joining us as you were all an amazing group and it would be lovely to see you all again at an event in the future! - Jas, Abbie & Shaun 👻
