Settle Victoria Hall Upon arrival, we stayed as one big group in the main hall and did some call outs. A few taps and bangs were heard, and some guests reported feeling a coldness on the back of their neck, goosebumps and a feeling of dread. We put out some K2 metres and cat balls, no intelligent response received. We split into two groups, with one going up on the Gallery (balcony seating) and one staying on the downstairs in the main hall. The group on the balcony used an Ovilus, and received some words through such as “play” and “i’m here”. We suspected a child spirit was present, but unable to communicate fully. One guest heard the word “chair” whispered in their ear, but when investigated, no further responses received. The group downstairs on the floor of the hall tried a human pendulum, which revealed some interesting results. We sought contact with who we think was a 16 year old boy, who passed in a farming accident in the local area. He was excited to make contact, and when answering yes to one of the questions, a lot of force was applied to the guest in the middle, almost throwing her forwards. After our break, we stayed in 2 groups. One in the “meeting room” and another on the stage. The group on the stage used dowsing rods to communicate with, again, this 16 year old boy, who seemed drawn to one guest, who was a young man, and the dowsing rods kept pointing behind him. We also got responses relating to Echo, and apparently got in contact with someone who is known to him, and who he knew in their living form, but we never got any more responses to find out who. Guests reported being cold, feeling watched, a feeling of dread like something horrific was going to happen. We tried a spirit box and Estes Method, but this revealed no results. A couple of taps and bangs were heard, but no other communication method seemed to work, apart from the dowsing rods. The group upstairs in the meeting room used K2 meters and a rempod to attempt to make contact with spirits. They report hearing knocking, footsteps and intelligent K2 activity. The guests asked questions, and the spirit, they think was called Emily, was able to use the K2 meter to respond, by only flashing to the next colour along, but these were intelligent responses, despite the weak energy of the room. Guests felt cold, chills and the feeling of someone in one of the storage cupboards. The spirit also managed to make the lights on the K2 go to orange, and flash more regularly when asked. We swapped over, and Echos group went up to the meeting room to attempt a Ouija/Spirit board. Still no response on the board, but again, like the previous group, we received response on the K2 meter, with the spirit being drawn to leader, Stephen. This spirit claimed they were Stephen’s grandma, and they followed him around - like a spirit guide. Some guests reported hearing knocks, and suddenly feeling really scared and anxious. When Stephen left the room, the K2 activity was weaker. We got some faint responses through the spirit box, and some guests heard laughing. The spirit we contacted in this room, also seemed to prefer using the K2 meters, as when the Ouija/Spirit board was introduced, no activity was found, and when asked if the board was too hard to use, they used the K2 and responded for “yes”. One guest conducted a lone vigil under the stairs but this yielded no result but the guest did film it and will report back if anything has been found on the recording. The group downstairs conducted a human pendulum, and received some responses from the young man we seemed to be in contact with all night. The group also reported hearing laughing coming from the stage, behind the curtains. Guests had goosebumps, cold chills and the feeling of being watched. Thermal cameras revealed some figures in the doorway to the hall, and guests reported seeing a dark looking figure up on the balcony, in the corner, and in the foyer of the building. We would like to thank all our guests for such an amazing atmosphere last night, despite the delay to start! Thank you for being so patient, forgiving and understanding!
