Midland Hotel Bradford - 24-01-2024

We started off in the French Ballroom on the top floor of the hotel. Did some calling out and heard a few taps and bangs. The room felt like it had weak energy, and there was no interaction with any equipment offered. We moved to what was known as the Princes room, and set out a few cat balls and K2 meters. We heard quite a loud thud in the end of the room, so moved down to investigate. There was a small dance floor in this room, so we laid the equipment out on this, and got some chaotic K2 activity. We seemed to get some intelligent responses through this, but nothing definitive. Some guests reported seeing a mysterious dark figure at the end of the room, who seemed to be trying to walk forwards, but when the spirit managed to get to the doorway, it couldnt cross any further. Some people experienced cold air blowing on their face, hands and neck, and seeing smoke in the top of the room, near the light fixtures. Spirit/Ouija board was tried, but no activity. We gave a round of applause to the spirit known as Sir Henry Irving, and this seemed to increase the energy, but not much more activity. Team member Richard used an ovilus device, as we got words and phrases such as “fire”, “Donald”, “i can hear you”, “im hiding”, “hes hiding”, “can you see me/him” and “im here”. When questioned further, we didnt get much more communication. During the break, we saw some chandeliers in the French Ballroom flickering, and it wasnt just one - numerous lights flickered and at different times and we felt uncomfortable/cold. After the break, we visited the Pullman room, which seemed to be a meeting room. We tried a spirit box, and received one word responses such as “go”, “Dan” and “here”. We finally headed down to the final ballroom, the Princes Ballroom. K2 meter and cat balls were laid out in various places. Minimal activity with taps and bangs, but we got some flickering on the K2 meter. We tried a human pendulum which revealed some absolutely amazing results. Spirits from the building and land connected with us, and communicated that it was difficult to use the equipment to communicate, and they prefer using senses, and human pendulums. We contacted who we believe to be one of the servants who worked there, and fell to their fatal death down a lift shaft. This spirit explained that they were maliciously pushed down here, but no more information on this was given. We also received confirmation that some of the guests family members were here, such as Grandparents, and they made direct contact with some of our guests. One guest never met this relative, but managed to get some closure on this matter, and they feel more comfortable with the death of this family member. We also received responses explaining that there was more than one spirit in here, and Sir Henry Irving didnt want to make communication, but instead preferred watching from the side. The group found out that spirits cannot fly per sé, but they can more freely around the place they are connected to. Echo received communication from his grandad, and whilst Richard was being the pendulum, he got responses from his Grandma, which in result made him emotional, but since his senses were limited whilst being the pendulum, he didnt know the cause for this - which just goes to show how effective the human pendulum can be. One guest felt like they were being blown on their face, and people reported the feeling of not being alone. Whilst the human pendulum commenced, two guests left the room to try some Scrying, and saw an elderly male come through and show himself in the mirror, the other guest that was with them saw this too. What a whirlwind of a night! After very limited weak communication, during the start, we got heaps in the last couple hours. Some lovely messages from family, and spirits who reside at the hotel too! We would like to thank our guests for attending and providing such a brilliant atmosphere. We would also like to thank the staff at the Midland Hotel for being so hospitable, and accommodating.
