Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to all who joined us in this investigation. You were all such a great group, and were happy to get involved and become the paranormal investigators for the night!!
After the health and safety briefing and our introduction and equipment explanation, we all started as a large group in the main mine tunnel of the south drift. After getting used to the darkness down there and listening to what noises we could hear, we began calling out for responses. We did hear some sounds at points, like thuds and bangs, but we could not confirm where this came from.
We then used k2 meters on the ground and got intelligent responses to questions. This started relatively weak, but the signals got stronger the more we asked out.
We stayed here as a big group, with a small group moving to investigate other parts of the museum. Again, in the tunnel, we heard some sounds from the far ventilation shaft and got responses on the k2.
After the break, we split into three smaller groups. Group 1, we went to the trapper room first at the top of the north drift and again used the k2 meter, which we got the same responses on, which again got stronger the more we asked. We finally finished our investigation in the main museum hall; here, we used the dowsing rods, and the guest asking questions (who had always wanted to be a paranormal investigator and did a great job!!!) received positive responses to the questions asked!
Once again, a big thank you to all the guests for being so great and understanding, and to my small group for being a brilliant investigator with a different perspective, which really worked!!
